Bentley Hybrid Motor Performance

Bentley models are known for their unrivaled performance capabilities, and the Bentley hybrid lineup is no different. Thanks to the Bentley E Motor, you won’t have to worry about a lack of performance in the name of efficiency:

Bentley Bentayga

  • Bentley E Motor paired with 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine
  • 456 bph (462 ps)
  • 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque
  • 158 mph top speed (84 mph on electric only)

Bentley Flying Spur

  • Bentley E Motor paired with a 2.9L twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine
  • 536 bhp (544 ps)
  • 516 lb-ft (750 Nm) torque
  • 177 mph top speed (87 mph on electric only)

Bentley Hybrid Efficiency Braking

Bentley Hybrid Efficiency Braking is a combination of traditional hydraulic braking to stop the wheels’ rotation plus electric braking of the Bentley E Motor. By cleverly blending the two, Glendale Bentley Hybrid drivers receive a conventional braking sensation through the brake pedal at the same time the vehicle recharges the battery from the hydraulic brakes.

Bentley Hybrid Efficiency Braking also includes pedal vibration on junction or speed limit change approach when the car’s intelligent navigation system is active, prompting you to slow down and conserve energy as you drive.

Bentley Hybrid Drive Modes

Bentley Hybrid models offer three drive modes to make every Burbank trip simple, performant, and luxurious:

  • EV Drive Mode: EV Drive mode is engaged for as long as the battery is sufficiently charged—meaning if you’re running errands or commuting to work, you’ll be able to travel on electricity alone for miles.
  • Hybrid Mode: Hybrid Mode uses data from the intelligent navigation and predictive E-Mode to minimize emissions and fuel usage, even for longer drives.
  • Hold Mode: When in Hold Mode, your Bentley Hybrid technology conserves its battery charge for later use. When the car’s Drive Dynamics is set to Sport, this is the default mode—plus Hold Mode allows the car to generate electrical energy while braking.
